LODGING POLICIES

Casa Altamar is a upscale exclusive property where every guest reservation is very important and special to us. We endeavor to cater to couples and individuals looking for a quiet and peaceful location to enjoy a healthy, natural and relaxing vacation experience. Please read all of our policies and make sure you agree with them before booking.

FOR THE ENJOYMENT OF ALL OUR GUESTS, OUR ENTIRE PROPERTY IS DESIGNATED AS A SMOKE FREE ENVIRONMENT. SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE ROOMS, THE RESTAURANT, ON THE BEACH, OR ON THE GROUNDS.

  • A $200 deep cleaning fee will apply to any guest for smoking in rooms or on patios/balconies that are designated non-smoking. Additionally failure to comply with this policy entitles us to terminate your booking and stay at the hotel at our sole discretion and you must leave the hotel immediately without compensation or reimbursement.
  • No Pets are allowed.
  • Children 12 and over are welcome.
  • All rates are in U.S. dollars per night, double or single occupancy plus applicable taxes and tarriffs.
  • We require a 100% deposit upon initial booking.
  • Whole house bookings, special event bookings, and bookings during designated holiday periods are due in full upon initial booking.

Cancellation Policy:

For cancellations made more than 30 days prior to arrival a 25% cancellation fee will be
applied.

For cancellations less than 30 days prior to arrival the entire amount paid will be kept in full.

All holiday bookings between December 21st and January 5th, whole house bookings and special event bookings are due in full upon booking and are non-refundable.

For weather related or any other hotel closure reason, we strongly suggest our guests buy travel insurance to protect their vacation plans. This includes insurance against hurricanes and floods. No refunds will be given due to weather or any other hotel closure reason.

Rates and policies are subject to change anytime.

Check-in: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM. If arriving outside of check-in times, please call or email to make arrangements.

Check-out: 12:00 PM.

Electricity and hot water is provided 24 hours a day. Outlets for hair dryers and charging of electronic devices is included in all rooms.

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in our rooms and restaurant.

We have a night security guard but we are not responsible for any lost or stolen articles or valuables. Please lock your valuables in the safe provided in your room. Please lock your doors when not in your room.

We are not liable for any accidents or injuries. You and the people in your party agree to use our facility at your own risk and will hold us harmless from all liability arising from any accident or injury you sustain.

Please be advised that all floors here are very slippery when wet due to the proximity to the ocean.

You agree to be fully responsible for and pay for all charges including damage or destruction to the room or the property or the removal of any items belonging to the hotel by either by you or anyone in your party. An additional cleaning charge will apply if any smoking occurs in the room.

GIFT CERTIFICATE POLICIES

Gift certificates must be presented at check-in along with a valid driver’s license. Gift certificates are transferable. Any remaining amount on gift certificates can be used at a later day up to the expiration date. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash.
