You’ll learn how to prepare ceviches and tacos like a pro, and discover the secrets behind eight traditional Mexican salsas—including tamarind-chili and xnipek, a tangy Mayan favorite. After the cooking, enjoy tequila and classic margaritas with the Chef.

Class Menu

Cevichería: Ceviche with fish and shrimp, prepared in both Yucatecan and Mexican styles Chef’s special ceviche recipe.

Taquería: The three key elements of a great taco:
Stuffing: Battered fried fish and guajillo chili shrimp finished in sauce for extra flavor and juiciness.
Corn Tortillas: Handmade on a traditional press and cooked fresh for the tacos.
Salsas: A true taquería always has variety. We’ll prepare red and green salsas, plus Chiltomate and Xnipek from Mayan cuisine.

Empanadería: Crispy empanadas filled with cheese (and other optional fillings), served the local way.

Agua Fresca: traditional Mexican refreshment
Agua de Jamaica: hibiscus water
Agua de Limón con Chía: lime water with chia seeds
